Kroescontrol is looking for a Cloud Native Engineer. We are a young company consisting of cloud and automation engineers. Our services include consultancy, managed services, training and secondment. To further expand our knowledge and experience, we are looking for a Cloud Native Engineer who meets the following qualifications:

• Professional working and thinking level.
• Experience as a Cloud Engineer or DevOps Engineer.
• Familiarity with at least one of the three major public cloud providers.
• Knowledge and experience with:
  • Containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Configuration management (e.g. Ansible)
  • Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform)
  • Automation of infrastructure and CI/CD processes
  • Security and observability of cloud environments
  • Package management and application deployment (e.g. Helm)
  • Continuous Deployment and GitOps tools (e.g. Argo CD)
• You stay informed of developments in the cloud-native landscape.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to advise and support management.
• Ability to prepare clear and complete documentation to promote knowledge sharing among engineers.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out assignments, architecture or analysis work for our clients, ranging from medium-sized companies to multinationals with challenging IT environments.
• Collaborate in task-oriented teams with other engineers on specific processes.
• Implementing improvements and fixes that impact a large number of users.

Concrete tasks

• Installing, updating and configuring cloud-native environments.
• Solving technical problems.
• Integrating CI/CD pipelines.
• Thinking about the development of IT solutions and processes.
